CHILDREN'S SUNDAY MINISTRIES

Children's Church (Preschool - 3rd grade)

 We truly believe Sunday morning is for children as well as adults.  It is essential to provide and environment for children that is fun, exciting, interesting and challenging.  This vital ministry enables parents to enjoy the worship service in the sanctuary while their children are in a safe and caring environment.  We strive to teach our children that the love of Jesus Christ is essential in their lives.  We welcome all children Preschool - 3rd grade.  Children’s Church meets during the 10:45 am worship service.  Children start the service in the sanctuary with their parents and are dismissed before the sermon.  Our program opens with a time of praise and prayer, and is followed by a developmentally appropriate class where children are separated into three groups.   It is always our goal to foster a deeper and more meaningful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Sunday School (all ages)

Sunday School is offered at 9:15 am.  The classes are specifically geared to make learning about the Bible interesting and fun.  We recognize that Biblical teaching to the youngest of children is absolutely vital to their spiritual development.  God’s word is filled with many truths that need to be discovered, and our goal is to unravel them one by one.  We offer classes for every age group: Preschool - Kindergarten, 1st - 3rd grade, 4th - 6th grade, and Jr - Sr High.  Nursery is also available during this time.  Each class is taught by a teacher who truly values children and their spiritual development, knowing that nothing is more important than the love of Jesus Christ.  Classes are designed to reach the level of each age group, making the Bible accessible and the lessons meaningful in a developmentally appropriate way.

Nursery (infant-3)

Nursery is available for newborn to age 3 during Sunday School and both  Sunday morning Services,  as well as special events. Children are loved and cared for in a safe and secure environment where they can play and interact.  There are separate infant and toddler rooms and a private room for nursing mothers and sleeping infants as well. Older toddlers are prepared to transition into Children's Church with semi-structured times for stories, singing and snacks.

ALL children's minstry workers are CORI background checked and are required to follow safety and security procedures.
