Welcome Home

That is how you will feel when you first walk into our doors.  We have all been in situations where we felt unwanted, but our church family will embrace you just as Jesus Christ commanded.  We are a dynamic church that is growing and we love to have guests join us.  We love it even more when our guests become part of our family! 

Be You

Our church is only interested in knowing the genuine person that God made you.  We understand that will include gifts, talents, strengths, weaknesses and different likes and dislikes.  That is what makes our community so wonderful.  We know that God made you unique and we want to get to know that person.  So come hungry to learn from God’s Word, but don’t worry about how you are dressed or what you have done in your life.  God wants your life – all of it!  And we are a church that will show you how to give it to Him!

Simply Worship

Our service is designed to cut out the needless ceremony and man-made liturgy.  We want to sing praises to the Lord, pray together and hear the Word preached accurately.  We desire to show people the love of Jesus Christ and to train them up with good biblical teaching.  If you are ready for that type of environment, then you need to visit us on Sunday!

More Than Sundays

We believe that to just see someone on Sunday is not enough.  Our Church offers wonderful ministries for children, teens, and adults of all ages.  Join our women for a Christmas Tea gathering or our men for a relaxing retreat.  Sample some great (and not so great) chili at our cook-off and tailgate party.  All of our events and ministries foster lifelong relationships with people who have similar challenges, goals and spiritual needs.  Get connected!

Everyone Serves

You will find out quickly that NUBC needs you and wants you.  It is a biblical command for all believers in Christ to use spiritual gifts in a local church.  That is why we so badly want to see you using those gifts God gave you.  Whether you are a helper, a planner, a teacher or a leader … we want you to serve because God demands that you serve!

Everyone Invited

Some churches only want really young people, while other churches seem to only be made up of people with grey hair.  NUBC has both and everyone in between.  You will find that our church attracts men, women and children of all ages.  We like it that way because it is the only way for a church to be healthy.  There is much to be learned from each other, no matter what your age or experiences.  Our church has singles and families, older couples and young adults.  We have families with teens and those with small children.  No matter who you are – you will feel right at home. 

We Don’t Collect Résumés

Listen, what we really want you to know is that you are invited to join us no matter what you have done.  We believe wholeheartedly in the biblical principle that all of us are sinners and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).  We also believe that all who put their whole trust in Jesus Christ are born again and have received new life.  We are not interested in judging your past, but instead to introduce you to a great God and help you to follow His Word with your whole life!
