NUBC is Looking Forward to a Second Worship Service Second Service F.A.Q.Manual here On October 2nd, our church family will have two opportunities to worship on Sunday mornings. We will have services at 8:45 & 10:30. Children’s programs and nursery will be provided for both. Sunday school will be from 9 :00am – 10:00 am.
How Can You Help? (We thought you would never ask!)
For The Service:
We can use more Ushers/Greeters, and people to help with refreshments. We also need people willing to pick up an elderly person in our area and bring them to church.
For Our Kids!
We need Sunday School teachers, Children’s Church Workers and Nursery help.
For That Weekend!
We need help with our celebration dinner on Thursday, September 29th. We will share fellowship, worship and prayer together as we get ready to launch this exciting time in our church!
We also need help with our Saturday Kick-Off Celebration. We plan to have fun games, food and activities for people of all ages. We can use your help with games, crafts, sports, food and anything else we can think of!
Beyond The Weekend!
We need everyone praying for God to use this time in our church as a springboard to reach our community for Christ. Pray for Pastor Jamie, the elders, the leaders of our many ministries and the whole congregation. We are a family and a team who desperately want this valley transformed by Jesus Christ!
Thursday Night Fellowship Dinner & Prayer Service
Thursday, September 29th with dinner at 5:30 pm and a worship/prayer service at 7:00 pm (nursery provided for the service).
We will enjoy great fellowship, awesome food and have a chance to worship, give testimonies and pray for God to bless this big step for our church. Sign up online or in the foyer,
Saturday Community Celebration
Saturday, October 1st, 12 – 4 pm
Our church will be open for a great time of celebrating and we’ll have something for everyone! Enjoy games, prizes and fun stuff for kids, a foot spa and tea room for the ladies, a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament for the men, co-ed volleyball, outside worship music, good food and much more for the whole family!
We also need you to start inviting people to church. Don’t be nervous. Just tell them our church is growing, and we would love to have them. Offer to pick them up and bring them! What is the worst thing that will happen to you? They will say no. No big deal. Some will actually say yes!
